Where the work happens
The installation can take place wherever suits you — your home, hotel, workshop or garage — or at my own workshop. The route we choose shapes the timing.
At your location
Plan for around 3–4 days of installation. Depending on how far I have to travel, add a further 2–4 days for the journey.
At my workshop
The instrument is transported to my workshop, where installation again takes 3–4 days, after which it is returned to you.
If the piano needs other mechanical work before installation, that's no problem — but I need to know what's involved in advance, so we can plan the extra days accordingly. It's all handled by one person — here's why.
What to expect
How much does it cost? I can give you an exact price once I know precisely what the work involves and where. As a guide, expect a service fee, plus travel there and back, accommodation and meals. Beyond the service fee, what you provide is the space to work, travel, accommodation and meals.
Travel — anywhere in the world
I travel anywhere in the world, with Europe as my starting point, and I bring all the tools I need. All you need to provide is the space.
The QRS system
You can source the QRS system yourself, or, if you prefer, I'll arrange everything and bring it to you.
More than one system
In some cases I install several systems in one trip — worth considering if a friend would like one too, or, for a company, more than a single installation.
